We've come so far in such short time!

I was looking at wintertime pictures for my Pinterest page http://www.pinterest.com/halfwindsor/ and I came across these pix of sleighs in NYC...

Its amazing to think that in the 1910s, folks still moved around in horse-drawn sleighs--as they had done for over 1,000 years.  But merely 40 years later, society had shifted to sleek autos, kids watching TV, the first computers, automated "Homes of the Future", and jet-speed!!  Food for thought, as we develop ourselves in this budding new year.
