The iPhone Replaced So Much Stuff

Handheld devices like the successful iPhone have "lightened our load"--literally.  You no longer need to carry or use...
(You can send iDocuments, as well as emailed files).

No more address book or planner (both above).   Even a man's "Little Black Book" is replaced by phone apps like Grindr, Blendr or Jack'd.

Remember when companies charged consumers for Caller ID gadgets (above) that now are standard on cellphones?
No need for calculators either (below).

iPhones have such great sound, that there's used to fill boutiques and parties with music, just they replace the need for separate mp3 player (below), including Apple's own iPod.

"Group texts" and social media (via the cellphone) erase the need for 3-way calling (like below).

In the past, you brought books or magazines or catalogs to entertain yourself.  Now, even recipes are found online via cellphones or Apple's voice-activated Siri.

Online shopping isolates you from shopping lines and crowded shopping centers.

Phone apps isolate you from cheesy pick-up lines at bars, while Siri and online search engines act as a personal Concierge.

In fact, the larger iPhone can act as a tablet, which takes place of many activities that you use computers for.
So, enjoy all that aforementioned "weight off your shoulders", as long as you keep Life Balance (considering handheld access to all of it).  Overall, I think it's facilitating Life.
