My friend couldn't decide what to wear. He was going to make us late. So, I commented that, nowadays, men mostly wear tank tops and shorts during summer. That is the extent of "getting dressed". Regardless of whatever menswear USED to offer (years ago), that outfit is predominant almost everywhere: jogging, Happy Hour, world travel, rooftop parties, going on a date, going to the gym, and clubbing. It seems perfectly acceptable to wear the same ensemble to all. It probably saves money, too! I'm not sure what it says about society's "modern man", but it makes getting dressed easier.
