Roses are blooming

     I must compliment the climate/soil of Astoria, NY.  Roses flourish and abound here!  It's amazing!  Seemingly with very little care, they share their colors vibrantly.  Gardeners in other parts of the state struggle to maintain them, but every crevice, nook and cranny in my vicinity easily supports the blooms, from summer through fall!  Here are some pix from around town, starting with one of me:
























As you can see, above and below, they grow prolifically--even in the tightest places!

    1. Yes, I took all the pix. Glad it brought a smile! The English rose gardeners would be so envious, lol. If there were flower nurseries here, they'd make a fortune!
