This morning, Lewis and I were sadly astounded with the leading News story, broadcast from La Guardia Airport. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA)--as inept as the Port Authority--was proven to have failed "mock terrorist smuggling scenarios" conducted by undercover agents. They failed 95% of the time! During the last 12 years! The published report stated that TSA employees failed 67 out of 70 tests. They failed to detect/intercept fake weapons and bombs being brought into airports and planes. Amazing. Yet, the gov't says, "Don't worry". (Well, actually, it always says "Worry", so it can justify budgets). When interviewed, air travelers were naturally upset. Despite all the inconveniences pushed upon tax-paying flyers, which are utterly ridiculous, it's all for naught… because the "folks in charge" aren't doing their jobs. Hence, a look "behind the curtain".
