Gratitude Journals In My Neighborhood

I saw this online, and I'm really glad that this free project--an act of kindness with forethought--originated in my neighborhood of Astoria.  It's indicative of the good vibes and energy of this area.

A fellow Astorian rode cross-country, "planting" a hundred of these Grateful Journals in cities, villages, and national parks along the way.  The idea is that random people will find them, share their love and gratitude, and pass them along to the next person. The journals might travel from place to place, or they might remain in one spot--frequented by a variety of people.  Each contributor may enjoy flipping through to curiously read others' expressions of gratitude... thus inspiring them.  When they're all filled up, the gift-giver looks forward to receiving them back (address listed) to share the love online.

Enjoy searching my blog for other mentions, restaurant reviews, and Walking Tours of Astoria!
