Important Questions to Ask Your Doctor for Physical Perfection

     Typical.

Preceding Gay Pride, the city is full of guys primping up.

    Also typical...
After Gay Pride, the city is full with "suddenly insecure" males, who lack "pride" in themselves.  Having measured up against gorgeously "enhanced" men--flown in from all over the country/globe, locals get unsatisfied with their own looks.

(After seeing year-round pictures, someone chided my buddy, "Do you use a ruler for your friends?  No fat allowed?)

Ignoring their inner value, they hastily splurge money on practitioners & surgeons to make them "appear" better.  It's unbelievable how many gay men I know who are already bantering about which cosmetic surgery they "need" to have: liposuction, hair transplants, hair restoration, "muscle" implants, muscle growth hormones, fatty chest reductions, botox injections, or plastic surgery for the neck.

[The other half of gay men I know (in preparation of Pride) have chests that plumped up like hormone-high Perdue chicken breasts].

In their thoughtlessness or impatience, many forget that doctors are looking to "cash in" on the craze.  If a doctor takes a mere weekend course, or hires a Medical Assistant to use a newfangled machine, it doesn't guarantee a proper surgery.

I advise everyone to ask these questions:

  • Is your doctor specifically board-certified for the procedure?
  • Where did their training come from?
  • How much training have they had?
  • What percentage of their practice is that procedure?
  • How many years have they been doing it?
  • How many cases have they done?  Any before/after pictures?
  • Do they have at least 10 patients you can speak with? (including days, months, and years ago?)
  • Who drafts the new body contour or hairline, et cetera?
  • What portion of the procedure do the doctors actually do?
  • Is that person a medical assistant, a doctor, or a surgeon?
  • Do they work as an employee, or is the doctor splitting the fee for using the facility to do their work?
  • Do they fly in as a contractor and have no liability when it comes to your results?
  • What guarantee do they provide: natural appearance, graft count, viability, success.

Hopefully, gay men put more thought into selecting their doctor than they do when selecting their sex partners.

Too bad those men aren't applying the time/effort to better themselves in these ways:
