Scandalized Subways

The New York Times published a collection of online Twitter submission from riders who photographed/documented never-ending dilemmas with the MTA's subway in NYC.  Click on each image to make it bigger/clearer.

What could their excuse be for that one, above??!

With a quick search through my own Facebook newsfeed, I came amassed my own collection.  As the New Year starts, the citizenry should oust those politicians who uncaring condone such messes.  Them being in cahoots with the corrupt MTA consistently aggravates, frustrates, inconveniences, delays, reroutes, and steals time/money from the riders/taxpayers.  Compelling them to spend extra for car rides, or forcing them to wait outside on weather-beaten platforms during 20-30 minute delays, or stranding them without service, or revoking service by "not stopping" to pick them up, or forcing them to get off trains so the trains can skip stops and regain time... are unforgivable.

Earlier this year, our re-elected governor was given a book of amalgamated complaints by MTA bus/subway riders, which further illustrated the problems.  Still, the governor moves slowly and without answers.  Yet, he swiftly takes advantage of his job to maneuver and rename a NYC bridge after his father.

Now, look at what OTHER big cities, like Los Angeles, are offering at this time of year.
